Liana Leung and Aman Prakash from UBC’s Cloud Innovation Centre (CIC) presented at the ID CoP on June 26th. They introduced the CIC and some of the current student-led projects, as well as Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service that allows companies to experiment with and evaluate foundation models (FMs) for their use case. Companies can privately customize these FMs with their data using techniques such as fine-tuning and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and build agents that execute tasks using their enterprise systems and data sources.
