Welcome to the ID CoP!
This website is currently under development.
The Instructional Design Community of Practice (IDCoP) is a place where like-minded practitioners can come to connect with other instructional designers at UBC to share examples and research-informed strategies to enhance online learning. The community activities and site/resources are developed and maintained by its members.
Members of the ID CoP, from both UBC campuses, are invited to present their projects or research on various topics related to instructional design, the use of a particular learning technology, or other initiatives implemented at UBC. The focus is made on enhancing student online learning and innovation in teaching, and the topics are aligned with UBC’s Strategic Plan.
The topics range from peer assessment tools, learning analytics, open educational resources and open pedagogies to inclusion and diversity in online learning. Come share ideas and explore innovative ways of integrating the technology to support teaching and learning at UBC!
